Berkeley Site is celebrating this month after receiving the prestigious Order of Distinction safety award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). The site has been awarded the RoSPA Order of Distinction in recognition of it gaining 15 consecutive RoPSA gold awards.This represents a significant achievement by the Site, maintaining a exemplary performance in Health and Safety during the last 15 years.
Site Director, Jim Crocker said: "Gaining this level of award shows just how committed all those who work at the Berkeley Site are to safety and compliance. Everyone should be extremely proud of this achievement, which is a first for a Magnox site.”
